The Urban Rivers program aims to restore or preserve the character of urban riverways through the acquisition or development of land adjacent to rivers.

Eligible Projects: 

  • Land acquisition

  • Waterway access

  • Recreation

  • Riverfront development

  • Shoreline enhancement post dam removal

Funding Amount: 50% of cost.
