CDBG seek to offer affordable housing, suitable living conditions, and economic opportunity primarily to benefit individuals with low to moderate income. Environmental reviews (ERRs) must be completed. The participating community must agree to undertake at least three (3) activities to support fair housing.

Eligible Projects: 

  • Curb and gutter improvements

  • Electrical system improvements

  • Street and sidewalk improvements

  • Wastewater treatment

  • Water and sewer expansion

Funding Amount: Up to half of the total project cost OR up to $35,000 per job created. Grants are capped at $500,000.
