Located at the historic corner of Main Street and Third Street in downtown Cedar Falls, this project transformed the former Wells Fargo Bank into a modern three-story building. The development included 7,500 square feet of commercial space with a drive-through on the ground level, and over 15,000 square feet of office space on the upper floors. The project enhanced the character of the area while aligning with community feedback, with the design documents successfully submitted to the City of Cedar Falls.
The Galena Territory Association (GTA) Marina and Pavilion redesign project is a years-long effort finally come to fruition. The GTA has been strategically planning to redesign its campus for over 5 years and, with the help of our partner, Legat Architects, our comprehensive A/E team completed an incredible design for the association developing a new building for both the existing Marina and Pavilion locations as well as an overall campus redesign.
The Field Day Brewing Company is the culmination of two years of integrated design between Axiom Consultants, Slingshot Architects, Hodge Construction, and the FDBC ownership group.
Full immersion and collaboration of the full stakeholder group from day one, resulted in an incredible facility located in the heart of North Liberty, IA. Axiom Consultants, a Ruekert & Mielke Company, provided the complete engineering design package including civil, landscape architecture, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, fire-protection, and technology elements.
Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. (R/M) was selected as the design firm for the Thermo-Fisher (Thermo) Site Improvements project located on the south side of Fitchburg, WI. The site redevelopment included two new parking lots (13,000 S.F. and 11,000 S.F.), a delivery truck staging area, a new 1,500 L.F. truck access drive, resurfacing of the existing facility loop road, and a modular block retaining wall within the 20–acre Thermo-Fisher campus. In addition, the project also included the design of bioretention areas to satisfy local drainage and water quality requirements.
